DUAL SELFS
Project for i-D Magazine
Milan, 2022
The purpose of this project is to show two different meanings of the definition of identity - the official facts vs the inner layer of each person. Focusing on a group of young photographer students who want to emerge into the photography world but are going through an unclear process; to share that it is okay not to know; a feeling that is simple yet universal.
It consists of diptyque portraits. One passport-inspired picture, representing the superficial layer that everybody can see.
Another picture with a blurred figure, representing the uncertainty of who you are (as photographer) and what you want to do (creatively speaking).
